The Anthony Church of the Nazarene consists of a group of loving and caring people committed to Christian growth, holiness, fellowship and education.
We have an earnest desire to see our community come to know the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ.
We recognize there are many pressures, challenges and discouragements in our world today. We desire to help you find the answers to these issues through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
We believe we can meet Christ through corporate prayer and worship and be healed of the effects of sin in our lives and in our world.
We invite you to join us.
We currently offer ministry to people of all ages. We offer a staffed nursery during
our Discipleship hour.
We offer Bible lessons to children of all ages as well as adults.
On Wednesday evenings we strive to offer more in-depth Bible studies for those who are maturing in their Christian experience.
We enjoy our times of fellowship when we are encouraged and strengthened by other fellow believers.
We bring God’s love into homes, hospitals and prison cells through prayer, Bible study and visitation.
We want to share this amazing journey with you and your family. Please come and allow us to get to know you!
Who are the Nazarenes?
The Church of the Nazarene is a Christian People. As members of the Church Universal, we join with all true believers in proclaiming the historic Trinitarian creedal statements of Christian faith. We value our Wesleyan-Holiness Heritage and believe it to be a way of understanding the faith that is true to Scripture, reason, tradition, and experience.
The Church of the Nazarene is a Holiness People. God, who is holy, calls us to a life of holiness. We believe that the Holy Spirit seeks to do in us a second work of grace, called by various terms including “entire sanctification”. This cleanses us from all sin, renewing in us the image of God, empowering us to love God with our whole heart, soul, mind and strength and our neighbors as ourselves. It produces in us the character of Christ.
The Church of the Nazarene is a Missional People. We are a “sent people”, responding to the call of Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit to go into all the world, witnessing to the Lordship of Christ and participating with God in the building of the Church and the extension of His kingdom. Our mission begins in worship, ministers to the world in evangelism and compassion, encourages believers toward Christian maturity through discipleship and prepares women and men for Christian service through Christian higher education.
Services
Services are held at 121 N. 4th Street Anthony KS
Sunday Morning services are at 9:30 AM (Sunday School) and 10:30 AM.
Sunday Evening services are at 6:00 PM.
Wed. evening service is 7:00 PM.
